During World War II, in England, many children are evacuated from cities and exiled to houses on the periphery to take care of them. When one of these children, Frank (Lucas Bond) arrives at the home of Alice (Gemma Arterton), a writer tormented by a story from the past, he refuses to accept it. However, as they get to know each other, Alice discovers Frank's innocence and curiosity and, little by little, he opens his heart, unlocking memories and feelings from his past, learning that second chances exist. Both will realize that they have much more in common than they imagined and that letting the imagination fly can transport you to incredible places.
