The film takes place in Chicago almost ten years after the aliens’ occupation. Captive State examines the lives of both sides of the conflict. On the one hand, the aliens are together with the collaborators, on the other, there are people who will rise against the occupation. Especially thanks to a government official whose job is to unite the world against a common extraterrestrial enemy. |
