Superman a moot figure when the events were seen in Man of Steel, and whereas there are several within the world who see him as a superhero, there are several others who read him as an extreme threat. Bruce Wayne a.k.a. attendant falls into the latter class, having been at ground zero throughout Supes’ huge climactic battle with General Zod and lost individuals throughout the catastrophe.
