If we consider the words of Stanislaw Lem, who said that "science fiction is a hypothetical branch of realist literature" it seems logical that the new generation of great filmmakers insist on using film as a natural hybridizer of this genre. Figurative speculation with little argument base, have been replaced by a future projection of what credible or plausible by the immediate present and the technological advances at our disposal. Science fiction has become the much more restrained and practical years, causing the spectator to react with greater skepticism than previously accepted with pleasure, unquestionably, to be taken as a chimera without foundation.
