Based on the failed mission of June 28, 2005 'Operation Red Wings ", the film tells the story of many members of SEAL Team 10, who were charged with the mission to capture or kill the notorious Taliban leader Ahmad Shahd. Marcus Luttrell (Mark Wahlberg) was the only one who survived the mission.
